Forever House of Gourmet
In a small departure from my usual wellness content comes a few adjacent gratitude posts for the Toronto and GTA Wedding Vendors who went above and beyond for us during our wedding week. Check out the vender below and give them a shout - I highly, HIGHLY recommend their work. I hope my gratitude for them shines through.

When my husband and I signed our marriage registration during COVID, we came to House of Gourmet with 30 of our closest family to celebrate the occasion. When we watch a Raptors game in Toronto, we come here to celebrate the occasion. When someone in my family gets a new job, they take everyone to House of Gourmet to celebrate the occasion. When we have nothing to celebrate but want to eat, we come to House of Gourmet to celebrate the occasion. If it’s not clear by now, House of Gourmet is our favourite restaurant in all of Toronto.
If we call in to order for take out or delivery, they recognize us by the first item on our order: “vegetable fried rice, no egg”. We made sure to have House of Gourmet at our mehndi night because we are nothing without them to celebrate the occasion.
Our favourite House of Gourmet Order: Vegetable Fried Rice, no egg / Crispy Fried Noodle with Vegetable / Spicy Green Beans, no pork / Chinese Broccoli (Gailan) with Oyster Sauce / General Tao Chicken / Spicy Deep-fried Tofu (the triangle one) / Donut in Steamed Rice Roll, Shrimp in Steamed Rice Roll. To round it out, make sure you have the chilli oil and ginger scallion oil on deck. Delicious.
