Working with Pankhudi Henna Art
In a small departure from my usual wellness content comes a few adjacent gratitude posts for the Toronto and GTA Wedding Vendors who went above and beyond for us during our wedding week. Check out the information below and give them a shout - I highly, HIGHLY recommend their work. I hope my gratitude for them shines through.

Dimple Shah of Pankhudi Henna Art is THE Henna Artist to call for your bridal mehndi / henna needs. I’m so glad that I had a chance to be adorned by her expertise and creativity. We communicated through email to schedule our event dates, and I used Instagram to view Dimple’s bridal portfolio. Dimple arrived right on time for our mehndi appointment and sat me down right away. She had my bridal mehndi done in 5 hours, and that included my hands and arms on both sides up to the elbow, and my feet as well. What a feat! The best part about sitting with Dimple was completely coincidental - she was from the same city in India that my family is from! We chatted the night away in Gujarati, and Dimple fit into our family like a glove. She stayed around for another hour after my mehndi was complete to help the other artists we had hired for the night.
Dimple’s designs were intricate, akin to lace woven up my arms. Each flower was piped to perfection, each mandala and curve belying years of practice, and hundreds of years of tradition. The stain came out SO DARK, and stayed on my hands for about 2 weeks afterwards. Mehndi is such an integral part of our wedding celebrations, and Dimple joyfully carries on this tradition in Toronto and the surrounding GTA. I hope you get the chance to experience her work.
