Working With Brown Rice Photography

In a small departure from my usual wellness content comes a few adjacent gratitude posts for the Toronto and GTA Wedding Vendors who went above and beyond for us during our wedding week. Check out the information below and give them a shout - I highly, HIGHLY recommend their work. I hope my gratitude for them shines through.

Almost every photo that you’ll see in my wedding blog posts are by Narbir and his team at Brown Rice Photography. They were a GODSEND throughout the wedding process. When we initially contacted Narbir, we did so through email. We set up a call to go through our needs and wants before formalizing an agreement with him, and he made us feel completely at ease about our big fat Indian wedding. We truly didn’t think we needed to talk to any other photography company. We ended up finishing up our scheduled calls and appointments, and that only solidified our resolve - Narbir and Brown Rice Photography were IT.

Narbir called us a week before our wedding to go through our scheduling and needs, and kept up graciously with all of our events and locations. Narbir has worked a number of South Asian weddings, and understood which moments needed extra attention, and honoured our closer friends and family without needing to be told who was who. This meant that we ended up with beautiful, intimate shots of the guests who made our wedding that much more special. Our personal photoshoots were deliciously creative, and Narbir and his team kept us comfortable even when posing. If we could do it all over again, we’d choose Narbir time and time again. Hit him up at brownricephotographyto@gmail.com to give him details about your events, and hear about his rates and more. He is extremely booked and busy, so be prepared to get your photos in a few months rather than right away. Edits on your images will also take quite some time - we are still waiting on ours from the few photos we selected that needed additional work.
