Working with A Dash of Craft
In a small departure from my usual wellness content comes a few adjacent gratitude posts for the Toronto and GTA Wedding Vendors who went above and beyond for us during our wedding week. Check out the vender below and give them a shout - I highly, HIGHLY recommend their work. I hope my gratitude for them shines through.
Call me biased, but I knew I was going to work with A Dash of Craft for my wedding day. This is partly because the owner Aasiyah is my friend, and mostly because she does DOPE work. I wanted her to work her magic in whatever way felt best, and I was overjoyed by the results.
A Dash of Craft created both a mehndi backdrop for our mehndi event, and also a backdrop for our small reception stage (more pics coming!). I wanted the mehndi background to be bright and colourful, but asked for something understated and elegant for the reception.
Aasiyah delivered on both accounts. She involved me in the process of the backdrops by asking me to send her my themes and inspiration pics, and even taught us how to change the backdrop if we wanted to create a second look for the mehndi event. She let us use a number of props and supplies, and even incorporated the decor and art that we had created into the looks for us as well. Aasiyah cleared away all of the supplies and backdrops super quickly, which saved us the space as our family continued to swarm around the house during our wedding weekend. A Dash of Craft has a number of props, decor, and backdrops available for use, and I hope you get a chance to work with Aasiyah on your dream wedding look. I am so grateful to A Dash of Craft for all of their support. Check out the next page to take a look at the reception details and backdrop.
